Vinomis Laboratories Introduces Vindure 900

Vinomis Laboratories, a partner of Xenomis, today officially introduced its Vindure 900 product including technology and knowhow from Xenomis, LLC. This is the first product to be sold using Xenomis’ exclusive license for proprietary science from Harvard Medical School.

Vinomis Laboratories Introduces Vindure 900

The Resveratrol-equivalent of over 100 bottles of red wine in a one-per-day tablet, with a 900mg combination of pure Resveratrol, Quercetin, and Bordeaux whole-grape extract

Pittsburgh, PA – July 9, 2009 – Vinomis Laboratories today introduced a new super-concentrated dietary supplement based on three widely acclaimed ingredients: Pure Resveratrol, Red Wine Grape Extract, and Quercetin.

This is the first product to be based on proprietary science developed at Harvard Medical School, and licensed to Vinomis.  In addition to the long-term health benefits, over 90% of customers are reporting increased energy, improved endurance, improved mental acuity, improved blood sugar, or weight loss.

“I have nearly doubled my endurance.  In March, I rode a 48-mile bike race, and experienced severe cramping with three days of recovery time.  After 4 weeks on Vindure, I completed an 88-mile race with little cramping and one day of recovery.  While racing, my heart rate was significantly lower than previous races,” reports Brian D. of Waynesburg, PA.

For nearly 200 years, scientists have been aware of a phenomenon known as “The French Paradox.”  Despite a high saturated fat, high calorie diet, the French live longer and healthier than Americans.  High consumption of red wine has long been suspected as the cause, but in 2003, a team of researchers at Harvard Medical School “broke the code” and discovered that 19 polyphenols activate the “SIRT” genes, and 17 of these are found in red grapes and red wine.  These genes produce the Sirtuin enzymes which play a key role in the aging process, and prevent many of the diseases related to aging such as diabetes, cancers, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and others.

Two of the most powerful SIRT activators were found to be Resveratrol and Quercetin.  Together with an advisory board of distinguished physicians and researchers, Vinomis has developed an ideal combination of these ingredients, including 400mg of 98% pure Resveratrol, 400mg of red wine grape extract from Bordeaux, France, and 100mg of high-purity Quercetin which, in addition to its own benefits, enhances the bio-availability of the Resveratrol, keeping it in the bloodstream longer.  Together, these ingredients provide over 900mg of active ingredients in a one-per-day coated tablet.

According to Bryan Donohue, Chief of Cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – UPMC and Vinomis Chief Medical Advisor, “This is the most interesting and compelling story of our adult lives,” he said, commenting on the breakthroughs in anti-aging technology.

Powerful Antioxidant

Independent tests by Brunswick Laboratories measured the ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) of Vindure at 19,638, more than eight times the antioxidants in a glass of pomegranate juice.  Antioxidants are important because “free oxygen radicals” in the body can cause cellular damage, one of the recognized causes of aging and age related diseases.

Dr. Joseph Maroon, author of “The Longevity Factor,” Vice Chairman and Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and chief neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers, assisted Vinomis in the formulation of Vindure.  “Vindure is packed full of powerful polyphenols and antioxidants including Resveratrol, that appear to have profoundly positive effects on human health, exercise endurance, and exercise recovery.  Vindure 900 meets my standards of excellence,” says Dr. Maroon.

Human Clinical Trials

A number of researchers, including Dr. James Smoliga of Marywood University, a leading center in sports medicine, have run human clinical trials using the Vindure combination, and have additional trials in progress.  These trials have confirmed the positive results observed in the laboratory, including measurable increases in endurance, better memory, and reductions in the factors that can result in age-related conditions.  Vinomis is also participating in new trials in the areas of cardiovascular health, strength, and endurance.  The detailed results of completed trials can be found on our website at http://www.vinomis.com/vindure/HumanClinicalTrials.do.

Vindure is made in the USA for Vinomis by Nutra Manufacturing of Greenville, SC, a subsidiary of General Nutrition Centers (GNC).  The production facility is one of the most advanced in the world, producing billions of doses per year to the highest nutraceutical standards.  The facility is certified by the FDA, Australian TGA, USP, and NSF, and complies with the latest GMP (good manufacturing practices).

Vindure is available directly from Vinomis at 877-4-Vinomis (877-484-6664) or at www.vinomis.com, and through a network of medical professionals who are recommending Vindure to patients.

ORAC Antioxidant Results by Brunswick Labs

Vinomis has received its ORAC results from Brunswick Labs on Vindure 900, which is based upon ingredients and science from Xenomis. One (1) daily tablet of Vindure 900 has an ORAC value of 19,638. This is 2-3 times that of other products and foods rich in antioxidants (see chart below). The reason for this high ORAC value is the combination of Resveratrol, red wine grape extract, and Quercetin. ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) is a scalar value useful for comparing the antioxidant content of different foods or nutritional supplements.

An antioxidant is a molecule capable of slowing or preventing the oxidation of other molecules.

Oxidation is a chemical reaction that transfers electrons from a substance to an oxidizing agent. Oxidation reactions can produce free radicals, which start chain reactions that damage cells. Antioxidants terminate these chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates, and inhibit other oxidation reactions by being oxidized themselves. As a result, antioxidants are often reducing agents such as thiols or polyphenols.

Science Daily: Polyphenols in Red Wine May Stop Cancer, Heart Disease

Chemical in Red Wine, Fruits and Vegetables May Stop Cancer, Heart Disease, Depending on the Dose

ScienceDaily (Nov. 1, 2007) — The next cancer drug might come straight from the grocery store, according to new research published in the November 2007 issue of The FASEB Journal. In the study, French scientists describe how high and low doses of polyphenols have different effects. Most notably, they found that very high doses of antioxidant polyphenols shut down and prevent cancerous tumors by cutting off the formation of new blood vessels needed for tumor growth. Polyphenols are commonly found in red wine, fruits, vegetables, and green tea.

Note: The Xenomis and Vinomis products are rich in highly concentrated polyphenols, equivalent to 50-100 bottles of red wine, without the alcohol.
